The Modular/Cut Down WS Rig is a great choice for Sites where Borehole positions are difficult to access or positions with limited headroom.

Places it can access:

Ground Floor / Basements of both Domestic & Commercial Properties
Terraced Gardens / Sloped Banks
Multi Storey Car Parks

Due to its modular nature, it can be mobilised to Site either on a trailer towed by a 4x4 or on the back of a flat bed lorry. 

Once on site it is then carried into position and erected so that Drilling can commence. When a position has been completed the Rig can then be dismantled and carried to the next position. On flat level hardstanding, wheels can be installed on the rig to enable the rig to be moved from position to position without having to dismantle the rig.

Due to the modular nature of the rig, all parts will fit through a standard front door. So it is ideal for Domestic Mid-Terraced properties that do not have any rear access.

The rig can be powered by either an electric or petrol-powered hydraulic pack and with the use of hydraulic extension hoses can located outside a building to remove the need for fume extraction.

The Rig is capable of performing SPTs and DPSH tests along with recovering windowless samples with in a rigid plastic liner. The Rig has a LOLER Certificate and the SPT Hammer is calibrated annually and both Certificates are available on request.
